Check out this extravagant billion dollar wedding

Billionaire son of Mikhail Gutseriev, a Kazakh-born oil and media tycoon, Said Gutseriev, 28, who graduated from  Harrow and Oxford University, married 20-year-old Dental student Khadija Uzhakhova in Moscow this past weekend in a very lavish ceremony that reportedly cost up to $1 billion. The wedding took place at the luxury Moscow restaurant and banqueting venue Safisa, which was decked out in wall-to-wall fresh flowers.

According to Daily Mail, the wedding dress was a beaded Elie Saab gown which cost about $25,000.
Her dress was imported from Paris and reportedly weighed 25lb because of the huge train and heavy embellishment. She needed the assistance of several people to carry her train and help her walk up the stairs

Khadija's look was completed with a diamond tiara and a huge diamond pendant around her neck.

Meanwhile, the father of the groom personally received all 600 guests who attended the nuptials. Many guests travelled to the grand nuptials in a fleet of luxury cars including Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Maybachs etc. which were seen lined up outside the venue ahead of the ceremony.
The entertainment also did not come cheap, with Sting, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias who all provided entertainment for the guests.

Emmanuel Adebayor makes Togo U-turn, returns as captain..

Crystal Palace striker Emmanuel Adebayor has returned to the Togolese national team after a long absence and will lead his team's qualification charge ahead of next year's AFCON tournament.

The former Arsenal striker, who turned down his initial call-up to the national side, reconsidered his decision at the request of the countries football officials and will now lead his team against Tunisia in today's AFCON qualifiers.

The forward last played for Togo in June 2015 and turned down an approach from FTF president Colonel Kossi Akpovy earlier this month to focus on his club future at Crystal Palace.

Adebayor, who played for Togo at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, has since made himself unavailable for selection on several occasions and criticised the "chaos" in the FTF.

Togo is in the same group with Djibouti, Tunisia and Liberia and have managed two wins in the AFCON qualification campaign.

Our match with Pahraohs of Egypt is not going to be easy- Mikel Obi

Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi, says their match against the Pharoah's of Egypt will not be an easy one but that he remembers the 2009 Super Eagles team that defeated Kenya in Nairobi in a must-win game to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He says if they could do it back then, they can also do it today.
“We are in the same situation now as we were then going to Nairobi. I just have it in my mind that it can be done, that we have done it before. Yes, we will go out there on Tuesday night and do exactly what we have to do: fight.
It is not going to be easy but I keep remembering what we did in Nairobi that evening and I know it can be done.”he said Shuaibu Amodu who was the head coach of the Super Eagles in 2010 and now the National Technical Director of the Super Eagles, also says the Super Eagles can win their match against the Pharoahs of Egypt just as they beat their Kenyan counterpart in Nairobi in 2010. “I also remember Nairobi, and I have already discussed it with Mikel (Obi) and he remembers very well and the spirit is there and he will pass it on to the other players. We just have to remember that it has been done before and that we can do it again. Of course, that was a FIFA World Cup qualifier and this one is an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. But the same principle can be applied and Nigeria will come out victorious.”he said

500 ISIS terrorists reportedly deployed across Europe to cause next set of attacks

Terrorist group ISIS has reportedly trained 500 terrorists and sent them into Europe disguising as refugees to cause maximum damage and terror on the European continent, according to reports from the Associated Press.

The world is still getting to grips with the shock from the Paris terror attack and most recently the Belgium airport attack. Attacks which ISIS have claimed responsibility for, but with this new tactic employed by the group, Europe is in for more shock and grief if the reports are true.

AP reports,
“After fleeing Paris immediately after the November attacks, Abdeslam forged a new network back in his childhood neighborhood of Molenbeek, long known as a haven for jihadis, and renewed plotting, according to Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.” “Not only did he drop out of sight, but he did so to organize another attack, with accomplices everywhere. With suicide belts. Two attacks organized just like in Paris. And his arrest, since they knew he was going to talk, it was a response: So what if he was arrested? ‘We’ll show you that it doesn’t change a thing,”’ said French Senator Nathalie Goulet, co-head of a commission tracking jihadi networks.
"The reality is that if we knew exactly how many there were, it wouldn’t be happening.” It is true ISIS is losing territory and influence the Syria and the Middle East, due to coalition operations and Russian airstrikes, but the group has metastasized like a cancer into Western capitals which was always the long term goal to begin with. The feeble effort by the Obama administration to target the Islamic State, while it was in Syria and Iraq for two long years, gave the terrorist regime time to plan the infiltration of terrorists into Europe, along with the ground to train its fighters.
Now, even if ISIS is defeated and eradicated in the Levant, it doesn’t really matter. The damage has been done. The terror cells are in place to kill for decades to come. ISIS has also spread to Africa and other areas around the world to enable the training, recruitment and planning to continue.

Woman dies in car crash on her way to her mum's funeral

A 48 year old Utah woman, Danielle Marquez-Valle, died in a car crash in southern Utah as she was heading to her mother's funeral.
A man driving a pickup truck lost control of his truck on Saturday morning and slammed into her pick up which rolled several times. Unfortunately, Danielle was ejected from the passenger seat and  pronounced dead at the scene.

The 48 year old driver of the truck and the 28 year old riding with Danielle were  both taken to the hospital in serious conditions. Police say neither woman was wearing a seat belt.
The road was wet and icy due to a winter storm according to Good 4 Utah.

The original plan was for Danielle to have her mum's ashes with her, but those plans changed and she did not have her mother's ashes with her at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Shirley Coates, Danielle's mother, died earlier this month after a long illness at the age of 68.

North Carolina passes bathroom privacy law which prevents Transgender people from using any bathroom they want

Last month, North Carolina passed a gay and transgender protections bill, a nondiscrimination ordinance adopted in the city of Charlotte that, among other things, allowed people to use the bathroom that matched with their gender identity. This caused an outrage among some residents of the state who said women and children were not being protected from sexual predators who may pose as transgender to gain access to women’s restrooms.
Well, the North Carolina legislature on Wednesday passed a sweeping bill overturning gay and transgender protections at the local level and required students to use public restrooms that correspond to their biological sex.
Gov. Pat McCrory, a former Charlotte mayor, signed the bill hours later, according to the Associated Press.

Now the Gay and transgender community are complaining about discrimination because they wont be comfortable using bathrooms of their biological sex due to their sex changes and fear that they may be sexual harassed as well by sexual predators.

Even the mayor of San Francisco has given an order banning city employees from traveling to North Carolina on public business.

The Gov reiterated his stance of protecting women and children by releasing the statement:
“The basic expectation of privacy in the most personal of settings, a restroom or locker room, for each gender was violated by government overreach and intrusion by the mayor and city council of Charlotte. This radical breach of trust and security under the false argument of equal access not only impacts the citizens of Charlotte but people who come to Charlotte to work, visit or play. This new government regulation defies common sense and basic community norms by allowing, for example, a man to use a woman’s bathroom, shower or locker room.
“While local municipalities have important priorities working to oversee police, fire, water and sewer, zoning, roads, and transit, the mayor and city council took action far out of its core responsibilities. As a result, I have signed legislation passed by a bipartisan majority to stop this breach of basic privacy and etiquette which was to go into effect April 1. Although other items included in this bill should have waited until regular session, this bill does not change existing rights under state or federal law.
“It is now time for the city of Charlotte elected officials and state elected officials to get back to working on the issues most important to our citizens.”

Judge explains why he gave footballer Adam Johnson 6 years jail term (full statement)

Yesterday Judge Jonathan Rose after a lengthy trial pronounced a six year jail term for Adam Johnson for having sexual relations with an underage girl, with some saying that the punishment was too harsh given that it was his first reported case plus the fact his career will be ended by the long prison sentence. The County Durham police  have revealed Judge Rose's full statement. Read it after the cut

'In my view that offence is also a Category A offence in terms of culpability. I identify the following factors as being present: There was undoubtedly significant planning involved, in the communications and in the arrangement of meetings.
''There is an abuse of trust, inasmuch as those who enjoy positions of what today is known as 'celebrity' are trusted by their fans and the family of fans to act in an entirely appropriate manner towards, in particular, young people who are less able to protect themselves.
You solicited sexual images of [the victim], albeit that you did not receive any naked photographs of her.
There was a significant disparity in age; [she] was 15 and you 27 at the time.
I identify the following aggravating factors: the location and timing of the offence – the dark and secluded location and the efforts to dispose of or conceal evidence.
You made to have [the victim] dispose of the WhatsApp messages and you yourself deleted over 800 messages.
''You required the subsequent change to using Snapchat messages because they would automatically delete.''
You repeatedly directed [the victim] that she should tell no one what was happening as between you.''
A further aggravating factor in such cases is where there is severe psychological harm...
I have read with care the reports to which I have already referred and listed with care to Dr Hopley.
''It seems to me they speak of a person with a gift for football who enjoyed success from an early age, yet whose immaturity both physical and mental caused difficulties and may in part explain why, notably when you had moved to play for Manchester City you embarked on an extensive social life which involved sexual activity on a very frequent basis with a number of different partners, even when you were ostensibly in a settled relationship.''
'You made a deliberate decision to engage in sexual activity with this young girl, no doubt in the expectation that you would get away with it.'
'She speaks of entering many dark places in that year and said she had suffered bullying and stress and had underachieved at school as a result of the case.'

''Accordingly, the total sentence is one of 6 years' imprisonment... The sentence you must serve will doubtless contribute to deterring you from future offending.''
