Uche Elendu's ex-husband reportedly bought the Mercedez 2016 GLE for ex-beauty queen Sandra

A friend to ex-beauty queen, Ekwosiobi Sandra, has come out to say she did not lie about being the owner of the Mercedez Benz 2016 GLE, that her boyfriend, Actress Uche Elendu's ex husband, Prince Nku bought it for her.

Drama as Nigerian man accused of raping daughter attempts suicide in court

There was mild drama at the Rivers State judiciary complex yesterday, after a 38-year-old man, Ibinabo Franklyn, who is being accused of raping his 17-year-old daughter, attempted to kill himself with broken tiles and bottle .

The Chief Magistrate, F.N. Amanze, Esq, had ordered that the accused person be remanded in the Port Harcourt Maximum Security Prison custody and referred the case file to the director of Public Prosecution, DPP, for advice, adjourning the matter to December 23, 2016 for mention.

Shortly after the Chief Magistrate rose and the accused was handcuffed and was being led out of the court, that  he got hold of one of the tiles which were brought to the court probably as exhibit, broke it and started stabbing himself in the throat.

Not satisfied, the accused went ahead and got hold of a bottle, continued stabbing and knocking himself on the wall. It took the intervention of some security operatives who went through the back door and got hold of him.

The accused was said to have had sex with biological daughter, who is also a product of rape, on the 23rd of this month at Okujagu  community in Port Harcourt local government area of the state.

It was gathered that the accused had chained his daughter in the house and left a bucket where she could urinate, then locked her up and went to work after raping her, so that she would not escape.

According to one of the officers, it took the intervention of neighbours who broke into the house and rescued the girl.

Fan tries to kiss Kim Kardashian's bum in Paris

Kim Kardashian West was almost attacked by Celebrity prankster , 27 year old Vitalii Sediuk, when she stepped out in Paris, France, on Wednesday. Seduik who is from Ukraine, attempted to kiss Kim's bum as she exited a black car and was trying to make her way into L'Avenue restaurant.

Fortunately, Kim's security guard, Pascal Duvier, was able to grab hold of the attacker before he was able to touch her.

Kim took to her twitter account to praise her bodyguard for stopping Vitali on time. She wrote:

This isn't the first time Vitalii has targeted Kim. 2 years ago, Vitalii was actually able to tackle Kim by grabbing onto her legs, almost pulling her to the ground when she was in Paris.

According to TMZ, Kim is planning to file a report with Paris PD over Vitalii Sediuk's latest assault. She also wants to get a restraining order against him because he has tried to attack her 2 times now.

Super Eagles may not attend 2018 World Cup Qualifiers cos NFF is too broke

As it stands, Nigeria's 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign may be over before it even begins. This is because the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has said it is so broke that it cannot afford to fly the Super Eagles players to Zambia for next month's third-round qualifier.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is right now shopping for N85 million to execute the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia on October 9 in Ndola.

The NFF had in recent weeks been lamenting what an official described as ‘no cash’ situation to
carry on their activities, particularly the fast approaching tie against Zambia.

A top official of the body told The Guardian yesterday that they require about N85 million for the match in Ndola.
We need about N85 million to take care of the match against Zambia on October 9, but as we speak, we don’t have any kobo in our purse. We have appealed to Globacom to come to our aid by footing the bills. We are still waiting for response from the Federal Government,” the official stated.
Breaking down the NFF budget for the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, the official, who pleaded anonymity, said:
“The charges for the Airline alone is $200,000 for a 140-seater plane, and it will be on ground with the team for two days. We need between $6,000 and $10,000 for flight ticket to bring in the players.
Their bonuses alone are within the range of N30 million. We don’t have any kobo in our purse right now, hence the need for us to approach Glo to come to our aid. But the Federal Government still has to play its part because this is the beginning of our campaign for the 2018 World Cup qualifying ticket. If we must get it right, every hand must be on deck,” the official stated.
The Super Eagles versus Chipolopolo’s 2018 World Cup qualifier was initially billed for Monday, October 3, but the hosts, Zambia moved the date to Sunday October 9 without giving any reason. The venue still remains Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Photos: Suspected Fulani Herdsmen attack & kidnap Catholic priests in Enugu

Same Catholic priests were recently attacked by Fulani Herdsmen in Enugu State. According to reports, the priests, Rev Fr Chetanna Jude Chukwuneke, Fr Emmanuel Dim and Fr Prof Ezeokana were in a car when the incident occurred. Chukwuenke was driving his car along Obimo in Uzo-Uwani when the suspected herdsmen emerged from a bush in a bad spot of the road and shot him in the head but thankfully he didn't die. They also injured the passengers, kidnapping one in the process.

In a post shared on his Facebook Page, Chukwuneke confirmed the incident. He said:
"Dear friends, thank you so much for your solidarity, goodwill messages, calls and most importantly your prayers. I am very much stable, hale and hearty. Our Lord did the greatest miracle for me: I was shot in the head through the side window of the drivers side by Fulani hoodlums along Obimo in Uzo-Uwani, near Nimbo both in Enugu state. The pellets stopped few inches to my brain/skull, and left orbit and ear. It could have been the end but GOD SAID IT'S NOT YET TIME. However, I still have some pellets in my face.Finally continue to pray for Fr Emmanuel Dim who was abducted. Also Fr Prof Ezeokana is recovering from burns."

Yesterday, news broke that actor Kalu Ikeagwu was arrested by the police following a robbery and homicide case. He has released a statement stating what exactly happened. Read that below
Just to clear the air, I have this to say. I was literally abducted at gunpoint by earring wearing men purported to be policemen (they were five) in an unmarked Hiace bus with civilian number plates and fake identity cards. They first claimed to be working on an abduction Abuja case which changed to a robbery case, all while in transit.
Even on getting to the police station I was not allowed to go in to the premises but was held outside . I repeatedly asked to go into the station where I'd feel safer to ask whatever questions that were burning in my mind regarding my traumatic experience. It did not happen. Instead they told me a phone used for a kidnap was being sought for,later the story changed to robbery then back to kidnap.

As I write this piece I have not written any police statement in any police station which strikes me as very odd. I'm still wondering why I was molested and kidnapped just because a purported phone no was supposedly tracked to phone. Why would they have to harass me when they already had details of the buyer and seller of the phone? In a legitimate situation,the seller of the stolen phone should be the key witness in this investigation, but in this case the police are till now very reluctant to meet the seller.
I know there are mysteries I need to unravel in this case and I will try to get answers to them. It's so pathetic that one can get bad publicity from Nigerian media just because they're so much in a hurry to copy that they forget the importance of confirmation from all the parties involved. Publishing a story based solely on a neighbour's account isn't true journalism, that's pure gossip and slander.
We need real facts from the media and we need protection from the police and not molestation.

"Don't worry, I have condoms", rapist tells would-be victim (photo)

A lady shared with myunfilteredng how she successfully completed her postgraduate program despite almost being raped by two young men.

One of the would-be rapists even had the nerve to tell her to cooperate with the rape because 'he had condoms'. Her determination and God's grace saved her, although she lost a lot of valuable materials.

I didn’t feel like pursuing a postgraduate program because my dad died 2 months prior to the admission exams. 16 of us were admitted out of about 200 that wrote the exams and we began lectures. Then I started my dissertation. I spent five months writing, submitting, correcting and re-submitting Chapter One.

2 weeks to submission and defence, the unexpected happened. Due to fuel scarcity, getting transport out of campus was hard so I had to walk home. On my way, I saw 2 guys. My first thought was to dash past but then I figured they could easily push me into the lake nearby. As I turned to go back, another guy cornered me and before I could blink he ripped off my bag and said,
“I just want to have sex with you, that’s all. Nothing more. Just cooperate. Don’t worry, I have condoms. Just allow me. I will give you your bag back.”
“Oh God”, I prayed. But this guy was not ready to let me go. He kept tugging at my trousers. We were in the sand, rolling and pulling. I struggled and tried appealing to his senses, at least so he could lose some grip and I could run. Noticing I wasn’t going to give in, he decided to strangle me.

He shouted,
“Shebi, you are stubborn? I will kill you. You will die today.” As he strangled me, I just heard myself shout, “I will not die but live.”
He lost his grip and I took off. I ran into a group of students who helped me. Unfortunately, my attacker had disappeared with my bag containing a friend’s laptop, the hardcopy of my dissertation and several valuables. Because I finished printing late, I did not back up my work.

I informed my department and was given 2 months to rewrite my dissertation and then defend. The near rape and death experience took a great toll on me. My mind became a battle field but a few friends and my family encouraged me. I started the dissertation all over and submitted. A new date was scheduled for the defence. My defence was successful and I even snapped selfies with my examiners. Ain't God too good?
