In this extremely entertaining Spanish Primera Division clash, Real Betis turn in one of their best performances of the season so far and go into the break with a 1-0 lead over Real Madrid after a screamer of a volley from Cejudo early on. Los Blancos had a certain penalty shout turned down by the referee, but apart from that, they have been left wanting going forward. You definitely do not want to miss the second period!

Before he can pull the trigger, though, Petros clearly comes in and stands on the top of his ankle! The referee fails to point to the spot, and Betis are let off massively again for the third time in just a few minutes! Two sitters missed and a penalty not given!

James stands over a corner kick on the left wing and sends a superb, wicked cross deep to the back post, where Pepe rises high to bullet a header at goal from just a few yards out, only to see his attempt flash the wrong side of the post! Adan was rooted to the spot, but breathes a sigh of relief!
31'WHAT A MISS FROM RONALDO! The former Ballon d'Or winner comes deep to see a little more of the ball and flashes a pass into the feet of Benzema, before going in for the neat return inside the box, only to horribly drag a left-footed strike well wide with only the goalkeeper to beat! Normally he buries those, and Betis survive!
29'N'Diaye surrenders possession again in a dangerous area and this time it is Modric who wins the ball back before playing into the feet of Isco. The former Malaga attacking midfielder somehow manages to drift past, one, two, three challenges down the left channel before standing a cross to the back post, but it proves to be a little high for Ronaldo who is forced to retrieve on the opposite flank.
27'Fabian has been highly impressive so far for the Andalusian side. The 19-year-old has been tireless in his approach to press in the final third and this time it almost pays off as he barges his way into the box before looking poised to get the shot away, but it takes a combination of both Pepe and Varane to eventually clear for Madrid.
25'N'Diaye misplaces a pass on the left touchline and Kroos pounces on the loose possession before threading a pass through the middle for Benzema. The Frenchman, who has been in good goalscoring form recently, ignores the runs of a couple of team-mates to his right to have a crack on goal, but the attempt cannons off the leg of Pezzella.
