Photos: Women protest against the Bishop of Sapele Anglican Diocese who was accused of embezzlement

According to a post by Sapele Oghenek on Facebook, churches under the Sapele Anglica Diocese on Thursday, May 5, took to the streets to protest against Bishop Erifeta who is being accused of embezzlement. The women carried placards with inscriptions:
"We say no to embezzlement, "Leave Our Diocese Alone", "Our Church is not your feeding bottle", wants the Bishop removed he "chopped money to the detriment of the growth and development of the church". See the post below:

"Report reach our news desk say, all the Anglican churches wey dey under Sapele Anglican Diocese wey mudiaga for Boyo road, do mass protest against Bishop Erifeta. Na so women from Orerokpe, Jeddo, Mosagar, Jesse, Sapele and other places carry placard of different inscriptions like: "Bishop Erifeta, Our Church Is Not Your Feeding Bottle", "We Say No To Embezzlement",
"Leave Our Diocese Alone", etc... Our tafia correspondence interview some of the women as dem nack our studio microphone say, dem don tire for dis their bishop and dem nor want am again. Wen we interview anoda woman, she say bishop Erifeta nor be their bishop hence make he pack commot from their church. Anoda woman say, d bishop own don too much sake of say, he dey so so dey chop money to the detriment of the growth and development of the church.
The protest go peaceful as our police mugiaga with their pickup van dey follow the women to make sure say everything legit."
