#BayelsaDecides: Results of supplementary election

Some of the results of the supplementary governorship elections in Bayelsa States have been announced by the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Below are the results already announced.

13:50:EKEREMOR LGA [7 wards]
Registered voters: 9,157
Accredited voters: 3,018

RESULTS
APC – 257
PDM – 10
PDP – 2,695
Valid Votes: 2,968
Rejected votes: 42
Total votes cast: 2, 3018
An APC agent disagreed with the cancellation of election in Ward 13. He said election was properly conducted at the units where votes were cancelled and that results were duly signed by the electoral officer.

13:52: The collation officer of Nembe LG said the results from Ward 13 [units 005, 012, 015] were cancelled due to over-voting in Unit 012 while card readers were not used at Units 005 and 015 . The total number of votes cancelled from the units are 883.

13:44: INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Bayelsa apologised for the delay

13:36: INEC resumes the announcement of results of the Bayelsa governorship election after over two hours of delay.
Results from Souther Ijaw are yet to be announced. Announcement of results will continue by 11:00am

RESULTS APA 2 APC 119 PDP 180 Valid Votes: 303 Rejected votes: 21 Total votes cast: 324

BRASS LGA Registered voters: 2,255 Accredited voters: 1703
RESULTS APC 1679 PDM 12 PDP 05 Valid Votes: 1,696 Rejected votes: 7 Total votes cast: 1,703

YENAGOA LGA Registered voters:
9,560 Accredited voters: 1,480
RESULT APA 7 APC 448 PDP 839 Valid Votes: 1,309 Rejected votes: 54 Total votes cast: 1,363
